Tuxedo Village Family Restaurant in Winnipeg

My family and I really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was excellent, the service was very good, and it had a nice atmosphere! My wife and I are on Keto and their Keto menu is awesome! They even had a delicious dessert! It was nice to go to a restaurant where we didn't have to change a bunch of it and to make it Keto. My mom ordered off the regular menu and thought the meal was excellent!All around we had a great dinner and will definitely be going back.

Fabulous Reuben sandwich with half order fries and Greek salad...probably the best Reuben I've ever had! Friendly and efficient service, what a great start to the weekend.

Great local restaurant. The portion sizes are good and the food is tasty. The price can be a little expensive for what you get though at times.

The wife and I ordered off the Keto menu and the food was great. We also had the Keto desert which was awesome. We we definitely be back. Who do you get your Keto deserts from. Do they sell to the public??

Good food, great price, and very easy going.

First time I've tried this place for a late lunch. I ordered a Reuben with fries and salad. The fries were absolutely excellent the Greek salad was very nice and the Reuben was really good although a bit surprising because they use a mixture of mozzarella and cheddar. The restaurant was empty and the service was still good. I would definitely come again and I would recommend this place to anybody that wanted great Greek food.

It was not full of patrons when I was seated, but by the time I left there weren't many empty seats. I have no clue why. The service was indifferent at best. I do not recall a meal at these price points where I was not checked with after receiving my food, and my empty plate was taken by the new owner. She never made a sound. That makes zero sense to me. The food was pretty ordinary, though to be fair it was just one meal. It seems to me that this business is setting up as direct competition to Taverna Rodos, and at this point there is no reason to choose it over Taverna. I do not see myself returning, and I am glad I was a solo diner today.

Ordered the deluxe cheeseburger here. Only when it arrived at the table did we realize it was a monster size burger. The menu should at least mention it's a double patty. The burger made a big impact on the plate not such a big impact on the palette. It lacked flavour and was not great.

Always so good! The burgers and Greek salad are my favourites. They have also started a Keto friendly menu.

I had the Gyro/Minestrone Soup/Salad. My daughter had the Chicken Wrap/Minestrone Soup/Caesar Salad. The portions were great, service was more than fine. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The small issue I had was I expected a slight bit more meat on my Gyro, but I would have to admit that the value was there and the taste was excellent. 4 stars only because I wanted two more peices of meat. I would absolutely recommend as I know that you will not be disappointed as I wasn't.

they give you a lot of food. Authentic like home made and delicious. lunch special always perfect choice.

I have a hard time rating this place... The food is great and the value is great! But I'm pretty sure I was ripped off, we got our bill and it looked like our waitress charged us twice for taxes? Bills are hand written, so that's always fishy. I was gonna say something but felt like there would be no way they would do that... Then when she took our payment she took the bill, so I can't look over it again or even go back and ask. Only now I'm thinking I really should have asked then. Left me feeling cheated... I'll probably be back because I did enjoy the food, but I'll keep my eye out for shifty business with my bill.

Environment was nice. I felt like I was in a restaurant in Greece. The food was good and the portions are huge.

Love this place! Been there a number of times now. We have dined in, but we often order take out. The food is really good there. I've had a number of dishes there. They always have a regular lemon rice soup and a different soup of the day. That's always nice choice. They have different desserts too from day to day. The prices are good. And the staff is super friendly. We really like this place. I highly recommend.

Really good! Went here and it was delicious, and large portions. It was just a bit expensive (not too bad though) I found, otherwise would be 5/5. I would go back

Great menu for keto options.The lettuce club was fantastic. Great price and super filling. With real turkey not processed sandwhich slices. On top of it all the restaurant was super clean and they're really on top of the covid 19.

Food was good staff very friendly and wine priced reasonable.

This restaurant is under new management and will not honour gift certificates purchased from previous owners. Menu has changed. Food not up to previous quality. Won’t go back. Disappointed Update to owners replyI wrote this on behalf of my mother who is 88, and her husband who is 90, as they don’t have a computer. There is no expiry date on gift cards. It is the same restaurant. Only change in ownership. Please refer to the Government of Canada website. The gift card was purchased in late December by my son. Not years ago. They are elderly and found this extremely upsetting.

I went during the peak lunchtime rush and was impressed by how quick and friendly the service was! The server offered good recommendations, and the food was delicious. A bit on the pricey side, but you really do get what you pay for.

Had lunch there in 2019, food was good but the owners came off as duplicitous, friendly to paying by customers, rude to their staff. I don’t support this. That was my impression.

First time visit, it is a very busy restaurant.Food portion is good . The taste is slight blend, but if you are looking for a healthy meal, they can surely satisfy you.Service is quite good for a busy weekend evening. Server would go extra miles to make you feel welcome.I would recommend that.

Owner over charged my friend for take out because she charged another take out order for my friends bill then tried to make her pay for the more expensive one that they had. Sketchy and not worth the money, try Taverna or Olympia!

Terrible customer service.

I have never been so grossed out in my life. Finding mold in your bun is NOT a nice way to enjoy a nice evening out with your husband. Finally get a night out, without the kids, and I chose Tuxedo Village for our night out. What a mistake. I ate half the burger before I noticed. How long does a burger bun have to be sitting out to get mold on it. I will never come back here again.🤢🤮

Paulina and Dave have opened their restaurant for breakfasts recently. We have to say that the scope of the menu and quality of food are exceptional. We had the French toast and strawberry crepes which were absolutely scrumptious. Keep it up guys!!

Quaint family restaurant. Service was quick and the food was very good.

Dropped in with a friend of mine for lunch. The server was very personable. She recommended their special which was garlic butter sauteed shrimp on Caesar salad amped up with red pepper, tomatoes and feta cheese all in an edible tortilla bowl. It was amazing! This was my first time at the restaurant, and I definitely got positive vibes and will visit again.

Nice place; good food and good service. I was glad that they did not over cook the fish. Too many places I've been at over cook their fish.

Had my favorite lunch..hot greek salad. Good as always & good chicken portion but would have liked a bit more salad. Food quality has never changed & I have come here for many years !

Great food, good service, really expensive though. 2 burgers with a side (1 salad, one soup) and 1 coke came out to $62 with a 15% tip. Burgers are huge and delicious though. Greek salad was fresh and tasty.

Just a fantastic meal, again. There were 6 of us and several had the special 3 course dinner. TERRIFIC. Lots of food. Wonderful staff. Thank you.

Terrible place! Terrible owners!

Great menu with lots of choice. They also include a keto menu for those enjoying a low carb or keto lifestyle. The keto options were good, loved the nanaimo bar!Only downside to our visit was being seated right by the washroom entrance despite many other tables being available, felt like we were being hidden away in a high traffic area. I would suggest removing that table completely it is poorly placed. Otherwise the service was great.

Won't eat here again.
